Talks and Training : A Victorian Slideshow

An illustrated talk about the discovery of a Victorian Magic Lantern in a Norfolk Church.
The history of the Magic Lantern is covered, including the various types of slides used.

Subjects include pictures taken in the 1900’s of Norfolk, especially Thetford, humorous stories and the First World War.

As this presentation uses copies of the original Magic Lantern Slides and a modern projector, it is suitable for any time of the year. A talk using an original Magic Lantern is also offered.
